Privacy Policy
The short version: we only hold what you send us, we use it only to reply to you, and this site sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
Who we are
Purple Panda Consulting LTD is an independent management consultancy registered in England and Wales, based in Nottingham, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at andrew@purplepandaconsulting.co.uk.
What we collect
Contact form: if you use the form on our contact page, we receive the details you choose to give us — your name, email address, company (optional), the topic you select, and your message.
Email: if you email us directly, we hold your email address and the contents of your correspondence.
Server logs: like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps). We use these solely for security monitoring and diagnosing problems.
That is the full list. We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or social media tags on this site.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
How we use your data
We use the information you send us for one purpose: responding to your enquiry and any business conversation that follows. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (responding to people who contact a business) and, where a contract follows, performance of that contract.
We do not sell your data, share it for marketing, or add you to mailing lists you have not asked to join.
Who processes your data on our behalf
Form delivery: contact form submissions are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which processes the form contents in transit.
Hosting: this website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Hostinger, located in Europe.
Email: our mailboxes are provided by Microsoft 365, with data held in Microsoft's UK/EU data centres.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation is live and for up to two years afterwards, in case you come back to us. Correspondence connected to client engagements is retained for six years in line with standard professional and tax requirements. Server logs rotate automatically and are not kept beyond 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, email andrew@purplepandaconsulting.co.uk — we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113).
Our mobile applications
This section covers mobile apps published by Purple Panda Consulting on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Our apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data about you. They require no account, and nothing you do in them is sent to us.
Advertising: where an app shows adverts, these are served and managed by Google (AdMob). Google may process device information to deliver ads, under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can manage ad personalisation through your device settings — 'Ads' on Android, or 'Apple Advertising' under Privacy on iOS.
Purchases: any in-app purchases are handled entirely by the platform you bought the app on — Apple or Google. We never see or hold your payment details, and refunds follow the respective store's process.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal data — for example, by adding analytics — we will update this page and change the date below before doing so.
